Nights into Dreams – Sega Saturn Game

Nights into Dreams is a flying action game set in the dream world of Nightopia. Two children, Elliot Edwards and Claris Sinclair, enter their dreams and merge with Nights, a jester-like being who can fly freely through each stage. Movement is the core of the game: you sweep along a course on a mostly 2D plane within 3D environments, drawing loops in the air to gather items and chaining moves together to build score multipliers. Each level tasks you with collecting orbs of Ideya and returning them to a cage before a timer expires, and clearing all sections of a dream leads to a boss fight. Scoring is central, rewarding clean, uninterrupted runs. The game uses bright, surreal art and an orchestral-flavoured soundtrack that reacts to your play.
