Off-World Interceptor Extreme – Sega Saturn Game

Off-World Interceptor Extreme casts you as a bounty hunter driving a heavily armed off-road vehicle across hostile alien landscapes. Each mission sends you over open, bumpy terrain toward targets and objectives while enemy vehicles and creatures attack, so you are steering, jumping and shooting at the same time. Money earned from completed contracts goes toward upgrades for your vehicle’s weapons and durability. The physics favour big air off ridges and hills, and keeping the vehicle pointed straight on landing matters as much as speed. The tone is deliberately over-the-top, with cutscene material framing the bounty-hunter story between stages. This Sega Saturn version is one of several console releases of the game, sharing its structure of mission-based driving combat and between-mission upgrades.
