Olympic Soccer – Sega Saturn Game

Olympic Soccer is an association football game themed around Olympic tournament competition. You pick a national team and play through matches on the way to the final, or take part in one-off exhibition games. The action uses 3D player models on a green pitch with a trailing camera, and controls cover passing, shooting, sliding tackles and set pieces such as corners and free kicks. Two players can play against one another on the same Sega Saturn. Match presentation is straightforward, with crowd noise, on-screen score and clock, and replays of goals. The game keeps its focus on the flow of play rather than squad management or transfer systems, making it a pick-up-and-play football title in the style common to consoles of its generation.
