Omikron The Nomad Soul – Sega Dreamcast Game

Omikron: The Nomad Soul is an adventure game set in a futuristic city you explore freely, moving between districts, buildings and inhabitants as you investigate a series of murders. The central conceit is soul transfer: when your host body dies, your soul passes into another character, and you continue with that person’s abilities and connections. Exploration and conversation form the backbone, but the game switches into other styles as the situation demands, including first-person shooting sections and one-on-one fighting matches. The Dreamcast version uses the controller for direct movement through the city’s streets and interiors. Quantic Dream developed the game, and David Bowie contributed music to the soundtrack as well as appearing in the story as a character. Expect a slower, dialogue-heavy pace punctuated by action segments.
