Onimusha 3 Demon Siege – PS2 Game

Onimusha 3: Demon Siege splits its story between two playable characters and two settings. Samanosuke fights the Genma in feudal Japan, while Jacques Blanc, a French soldier voiced and modelled on Jean Reno, faces the demon invasion in modern-day Paris, and the two swap places through time as the story unfolds. Samanosuke plays with swords and ranged weapons, absorbing souls to heal and to power up his gear, while Jacques uses a whip-like weapon that can grab enemies and swing across gaps. Combat keeps the series’ emphasis on blocks, counters and critical strikes, and the game moves to real-time 3D environments with a camera that follows the action rather than fixed pre-rendered scenes. Puzzles, keys and boss encounters break up the fighting across both timelines.
