Over the Hedge – Xbox Game

Over the Hedge on the original Xbox is a third-person action platformer tied to the animated film about forest animals foraging in a tidy suburban development. You control several characters from the movie, including RJ, Verne and Hammy, swapping between them to use their individual attacks and movement abilities. Missions send you creeping through gardens, garages and houses to gather food and gear while avoiding or overcoming household pets, traps and pest control. Combat mixes simple melee moves with gadgets, and levels include light puzzle-solving and plenty of collectibles that unlock upgrades and extras. A cooperative mode allows a second player to join and play as another member of the group. The visual style and voices follow the film’s characters.
