Pangya

Pangya: Fantasy Golf is a golf game for the PlayStation Portable based on the online Pangya series. It uses anime-styled characters and brightly coloured fantasy courses rather than real-world locations or licensed pros. Shots are played with a timing-based swing meter, and well-timed extra inputs let you add power and effect to the ball, rewarding precision over simple button holding. You select clubs, judge wind and slope, and can apply spin and curve to work around the layouts. Characters can be equipped with different clubs and items, and outfits and accessories change their appearance. The game includes single-player play against computer opponents as well as modes for playing rounds with a friend. The overall tone is light and cartoonish, with a golf model that stays closer to arcade play than simulation.
