Pete Sampras Tennis – Sega Genesis Game

Pete Sampras Tennis is a tennis game for the Sega Genesis carrying the name of the professional player. You take to hard, clay and grass surfaces in singles and doubles matches, with shot selection built around timing your swing and positioning to place flat drives, lobs, drop shots and volleys. Serving uses a power and placement input, and rallies reward reading your opponent’s court coverage rather than button mashing. Alongside quick exhibition matches there are tournament runs to play through against computer opponents. Multiplayer is a focus, with doubles supported for group play on one console. The viewpoint sits behind and above the court so you can track both players, and matches follow standard tennis scoring through games, sets and tie-breaks.
