Pirates Legend of Black Kat – PS2 Game

Pirates: The Legend of Black Kat is a PlayStation 2 action-adventure that splits its time between the deck of a ship and dry land. You play Katarina Blackheart, a pirate captain seeking revenge and hunting for treasure across a series of islands. At sea, you steer your vessel in real time, firing broadsides at enemy ships, trading blows and looting the wrecks; on foot, play becomes third-person exploration and sword combat, with platforming, puzzles and hidden caches to uncover in jungles, caves and settlements. Treasure and salvage can be spent on upgrades to your ship and equipment, encouraging you to sail between locations rather than move straight through the story. The two styles alternate as you follow the main plot, so voyages between islands lead directly into on-shore adventuring.
