Pirates of the Caribbean – Xbox Game

An open-ended pirate action role-playing game for the original Xbox, built around sailing the Caribbean rather than following the film scene by scene. You captain a ship, take on cargo and passenger work, trade goods between ports, and fight naval battles where you manoeuvre for position, choose ammunition types and try to sink or board enemy vessels. Boarding shifts the action to sword duelling on deck, and captured ships can be added to your fleet or sold. On land you walk through towns, visit shipyards, taverns and stores, hire crew, and pick up jobs from townspeople. Skills and equipment improve your captain and officers over time. Story missions run alongside the free-roaming sailing, so you can pursue the plot or simply build up your own fleet and reputation.
