Pitfall Mayan Adventure – GBA Game

A Game Boy Advance version of Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure, the side-scrolling platformer starring Pitfall Harry Jr. Your father has been captured deep in the Central American jungle, and you set out through rainforest, caves, waterfalls and Mayan ruins to find him. Harry runs and jumps between platforms, swings on vines and ropes, and drops into pits and underground passages, using a whip and thrown stones against scorpions, bats, frogs, jaguars and hostile warriors. Treasure and power-ups sit tucked away on side routes, so exploring off the obvious path pays off. The game leans on precise timing for jumps, vine swings and whip strikes rather than speed, and features detailed character animation drawn in a hand-painted jungle art style. Progress moves stage by stage toward the interior of the ruins.
