Playboy the Mansion – Xbox Game

Playboy: The Mansion is a life and business simulation for the original Xbox in which you take on the role of Hugh Hefner and build a magazine publishing empire from the ground up. You direct the layout of each issue by assigning photo shoots, articles and interviews, hire and manage staff, and court celebrities and business contacts to raise the magazine’s profile. Outside of publishing, you design and furnish the mansion itself, adding rooms and decor, then throw parties and steer conversations between guests as relationships and reputations develop. The presentation borrows heavily from open-ended social simulations, with characters moving about the house on their own schedules while you nudge events along. Progress comes from balancing circulation, finances and the social life of the household.
