Pokemon Pearl – Nintendo DS Game

Pokemon Pearl is set in the Sinnoh region, where you pick Turtwig, Chimchar or Piplup and travel between towns collecting eight Gym Badges on the way to the Pokemon League, while Team Galactic pursues its own plans. The Nintendo DS release uses both screens during battle and adds touch screen menus. This generation separates moves into physical and special categories based on the move itself rather than its type, and adds new evolutions for older Pokemon. Features include the Underground, where you dig for fossils and spheres and build a secret base, Poffin cooking for contests, and the Global Trade Station for trading over Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi and local wireless also support battles. Palkia appears on the box art and features in this version.
