Power Strike – Sega Master System Game

Power Strike is a vertically scrolling shooter for the Sega Master System, released in Japan as Aleste. You pilot a single craft up the screen against waves of enemy ships and ground targets, dodging bullets while collecting power-ups that upgrade your main gun and add secondary weapon types. Stages mix open sky sections with mechanical fortress areas, and each closes with a larger boss enemy that has its own attack pattern to learn. Play is built around memorising enemy waves and keeping your weapon level up, since losing a life costs you the firepower you have accumulated. It is a straightforward arcade-style shooter suited to short sessions and repeated attempts.
