Puzzle Chronicles – PSP Game

Puzzle Chronicles combines tile-matching puzzle battles with role-playing progression. You take on a story campaign as a character working their way through a harsh fantasy world, moving between locations on a map and taking on quests and encounters. Combat is resolved through a puzzle board where you arrange coloured pieces to build up attacks, with the pieces you match determining what your character does to the opponent. Between fights you spend the rewards you earn on improving your character’s abilities and equipment, so stronger stats and gear change how effective your matches are in battle. Side activities built on variations of the puzzle mechanic break up the main quest line, and the campaign is structured for short sessions suited to handheld play.
