Rambo

Based on the second Rambo film, this Sega Master System release is an overhead-view run-and-gun game. You guide Rambo on foot through jungle terrain, enemy camps and river areas, firing in eight directions at soldiers, gun positions and vehicles while dodging incoming fire. Weapon pickups and grenades supplement your standard gun, and levels scroll steadily forward toward boss-style encounters. A second player can join for cooperative play, with both characters on screen at once. Health is limited and enemies arrive from several directions, so movement and positioning matter as much as shooting. Progress is a straightforward push through successive stages rather than an open map.
