Rastan Saga II – Sega Genesis Game

Rastan Saga II is a Genesis conversion of Taito’s arcade sequel to Rastan. You again play a sword-wielding warrior moving left to right through fantasy stages, cutting down monsters and stopping at the end of each area to face a larger boss. Along the route you collect items and weapon power-ups that change or upgrade your attack, and a health bar tracks the damage you take from enemies and environmental hazards. The action is built around timing your swings and jumps, since the hero moves and attacks deliberately rather than quickly. Backgrounds cover caves, temples, and other fantasy locations drawn in the arcade original’s style, and the game is played as a single-player run through its sequence of stages.
