Rayman 2 The Great Escape – Nintendo 64 Game

Rayman 2: The Great Escape moves the series into 3D. You guide Rayman through connected levels, running, swimming, climbing and using his helicopter hair to glide, while throwing energy spheres at enemies from a distance. Levels mix straightforward platforming with chase sequences, water sections, and rides on creatures and vehicles, and each stage hides yellow Lums to collect along with cages holding trapped Teensies. Gathering Lums unlocks access to later parts of the game, so revisiting stages to find missed ones is part of the structure. The world is themed around swamps, caves, temples and factories, and pirates serve as the recurring enemy force. The camera can be adjusted while you explore, and boss fights close out major sections.
