Rayman Raving Rabbids – PS2 Game

Rayman Raving Rabbids on PlayStation 2 pits Rayman against an invasion of manic rabbit-like creatures known as Rabbids. This version is built around platforming: you guide Rayman through 3D stages, running, jumping, gliding with his helicopter hair and using his fist attacks to clear paths and deal with Rabbids that swarm in groups. A plunger-firing weapon lets you pick off enemies at a distance, and some sections break the platforming up with short challenge and minigame-style sequences. Levels move through varied environments and mix combat encounters with collectibles and light puzzle-solving. The Rabbids provide most of the game’s humour, screaming and mugging for the camera as they attack. Controls use the standard dual-analogue setup rather than the motion controls found in the Wii release.
