Red Ninja End of Honor – PS2 Game

Red Ninja: End of Honor is a third-person action game set in feudal Japan. You play as Kurenai, a woman who survived an attack on her village as a child and returns as an assassin seeking revenge on those responsible. Her signature weapon is a length of steel wire, used to strangle enemies, cut them down, and swing or climb between vantage points. Stealth plays a large part: you move along rooftops and through foliage, watch guard positions, and strike from behind rather than fighting groups head-on. Kurenai can also use distraction and seduction to draw enemies out of place before attacking. Levels take you through villages, castles and forests, with boss encounters tied to the revenge story. Combat is presented with an emphasis on graphic finishing moves.
