Resident Evil 2 – PS1 Game

Resident Evil 2 is a survival horror game released on two discs for the original PlayStation. Set during a viral outbreak that overruns Raccoon City, it lets you play as police rookie Leon S. Kennedy or Claire Redfield, who is searching for her brother. Each has their own campaign, and finishing one unlocks a second scenario for the other character in which events and item locations differ. You explore the police station, the sewers beneath it and a hidden laboratory, using fixed camera angles over pre-rendered backgrounds and tank-style controls. Ammunition, healing items and inventory space are limited, and saving requires ink ribbons found in the world. Alongside zombies and mutated creatures, a persistent pursuer appears in certain routes. Completing scenarios unlocks additional modes and costumes.
