RPG Maker – PS1 Game

RPG Maker for the PlayStation is a creation tool rather than a conventional game. You build your own role-playing adventures from the console, laying out towns, dungeons and overworld maps from tile sets, placing NPCs and treasure, and scripting events with a menu-driven system that handles dialogue, cutscenes, item rewards and battle triggers. Characters, enemies, weapons, magic and shops are all configured through editors, and combat uses a turn-based system with stats you set yourself. Completed projects are saved to a memory card and can be played through from start to finish like any other RPG, then shared with anyone who has the same disc. A sample game and tutorial material are included to demonstrate how the pieces fit together. Expect to spend as much time planning and testing as playing.

This listing is for an authentic original disc — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
