Rugrats Royal Ransom – PS2 Game

Rugrats Royal Ransom is a PlayStation 2 game based on the Nickelodeon cartoon. Angelica has taken the babies’ toys and holds them for ransom, so you play as Tommy and Chuckie and work through themed backyard play areas to win them back. Each area is a small 3D level built around a make-believe setting, with platforming, item collecting and simple objectives to complete, and you can switch between the two characters as you explore. Collected items and toys unlock further areas and activities, and Angelica sets tasks and obstacles along the way. The game uses the show’s character designs, voices and humour, and the challenge level is pitched at younger players, with plenty of directed objectives rather than open-ended exploration.
