Samurai Shodown Warrior’s Rage – PS1 Game

Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage is a fighting game for the PlayStation that steps away from the series’ 2D arcade entries. Fights are one-on-one duels with weapons, but the presentation uses polygonal characters and arenas, and the cast introduces new faces alongside a handful of familiar ones. The setting moves away from feudal countryside battlegrounds toward a story about a divided city and the factions struggling over it, delivered through a single-player story mode with dialogue between bouts. Round-based matches reward reading your opponent’s reach and punishing whiffed swings, with special moves and stronger finishing techniques available to each fighter. Versus play against a second player and practice options round out the package. Suited to players curious about the series’ experiments outside its sprite-based mainline games.
