Sega Genesis Collection – PS2 Game

Sega Genesis Collection is a compilation for the PlayStation 2 containing emulated versions of a broad set of Sega Mega Drive and Genesis games. The lineup spans platformers, beat-’em-ups, shooters, puzzle games and role-playing titles, including entries from the Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe and Phantasy Star series alongside games such as Comix Zone, Ristar, Altered Beast, Vectorman and Columns. Games are launched from a menu and can be saved at any point using the disc’s save-state feature, which makes the longer titles easier to work through. Two-player modes are preserved where the originals had them. The collection also includes bonus material such as interviews and background information on the games and the hardware they first appeared on.
