Sega Soccer Slam – PS2 Game

Sega Soccer Slam is an arcade-style football game for the PlayStation 2 that trades realistic rules for fast three-a-side matches. Teams are made up of exaggerated characters with distinct attributes, and matches take place in stylised outdoor arenas rather than conventional stadiums. There are no offsides or fouls to worry about; instead you body-check opponents, build up power and unleash special shots and team moves that can overwhelm a keeper. Players fill roles across offence and defence, and you can build up individual attributes as you progress. Modes include a single-player campaign of tournaments plus quick exhibition matches, and local multiplayer lets you play with or against a friend. Controls are kept simple, with the emphasis on passing chains, tackles and timing your power shots.
