Shark Tale – PS2 Game

Shark Tale on PlayStation 2 is a licensed action game following the DreamWorks animated film. You play as Oscar, the small reef fish at the centre of the movie’s story, and work through a series of stages that retell the plot. Rather than one open world, the game is divided into short objective-based levels that mix underwater movement and swimming sections with timing and rhythm challenges and head-to-head contests against other characters from the film. Story scenes between stages carry the narrative forward using the movie’s cast and locations. Controls are kept simple and the difficulty is pitched at a family audience, with objectives clearly explained as you go. Environments, music and voice work are drawn from the film’s underwater setting.
