Shrek 2 – PS2 Game

Shrek 2 on PlayStation 2 is an action adventure tie-in to the animated film. You take a group of characters from the movie through a series of levels, swapping between them as you go because each one handles a different kind of obstacle, from reaching high ledges to breaking through barriers. Play mixes simple melee combat with item collecting, light puzzle solving and exploration of contained storybook environments, with cutscenes carrying the plot between stages. Objectives are usually spelled out clearly, and there are optional pickups and side tasks for players who want to search each area thoroughly. A selection of minigames rounds out the package and can be played apart from the main story, some of them with a second player.
