Sing Party – Wii U Game

Sing Party is a karaoke game for the Wii U built around the system’s GamePad. One player takes the role of host, holding the GamePad and reading lyrics from its screen while the television shows visuals for the rest of the room, so the group can follow along and join in on choruses. You sing into a microphone and work through a list of licensed songs, with modes aimed at party play rather than solo competition. The design leans toward everyone in the room participating together instead of one player being scored in isolation, making it suited to gatherings. Song selection is menu-driven, and the split between the handheld screen and the TV is central to how the game is meant to be played.
