SingStar Pop Vol. 2 – PS2 Game

SingStar Pop Vol. 2 is a further pop-themed disc in the SingStar karaoke series for the PlayStation 2. You sing into a USB microphone as lyrics scroll on screen alongside the original music video, and the game rates each line by comparing your pitch and timing to the melody, with an on-screen bar showing how close you are to the notes. Alone, you work through the song list for higher scores; with two microphones, you can compete head to head, sing duets or pass the mic around a group. The presentation is straightforward and menu-driven, leaving the tracks themselves as the main draw. The format is consistent with other SingStar releases, so the microphones used with earlier discs work here as well.
