Skylanders Giants – Wii U Game

Skylanders Giants is an action-adventure game that uses the toys-to-life format: physical figures placed on a Portal of Power accessory appear in the game as playable characters. Each Skylander has its own attacks, elemental type and upgrade path, and characters keep their earned experience and money when moved between systems. The Giants of the title are larger figures with heavier melee attacks and the strength to move certain obstacles that smaller characters cannot. Play runs through a series of themed levels with combat, light platforming, puzzles and hidden areas, several of which are gated behind specific elements or abilities, encouraging you to swap figures. A second player can drop in for local co-op. The Wii U version supports play on the television with the GamePad. Figures from the wider Skylanders range can be used as well.
