Sonic Riders Zero Gravity – PS2 Game

Sonic Riders Zero Gravity continues the hoverboard racing series and replaces the air-management system of the first game with gravity control. Racers carry a gravity meter that can be spent to warp the pull of gravity, either pivoting sharply around corners or launching into a dive that pulls the racer forward past opponents and opens routes that are otherwise out of reach. Character types still determine which shortcuts are available on a course, and Extreme Gear can be swapped to change handling and abilities. Sonic and his friends race against the Babylon Rogues across a story mode split between the two sides, with cutscenes linking the events. The PlayStation 2 release includes time trials, race variants and split-screen multiplayer.
