Soul Blade – PS1 Game

Soul Blade is a weapon-based 3D fighting game for the original PlayStation, a home release of the arcade fighter Soul Edge. Each character fights with a distinct weapon, from swords and katana to axes, staves and nunchaku, and the eight-way movement lets you circle opponents and use ring-outs as well as depleting health. Guarding wears down over time, and weapons can be broken during a match. Alongside standard arcade and versus play, the home version adds Edge Master mode, a branching single-player campaign in which you complete short objective-based battles and unlock additional weapons for each fighter with their own stats and reach. A practice mode and time attack options are included, along with the series’ cinematic character endings and CG openings.
