SpongeBob SquarePants The Movie – Gamecube Game

A 3D platformer tie-in to the SpongeBob SquarePants feature film, following the road trip to Shell City to recover King Neptune’s crown. You play as both SpongeBob and Patrick, switching between them and using combined moves that pair the two together for attacks and traversal. Levels take you out of Bikini Bottom and through the hazardous territory the pair cross on their journey, mixing combat against waves of enemies with jumping challenges and boss fights. Collectibles gathered in the stages unlock extras and upgrades to your moveset. Cutscenes retell the film’s story between levels, using footage-style sequences and the show’s voice cast. The GameCube version supports a second player joining in for some of the content, and the structure keeps levels short and linear.
