SpongeBob SquarePants The Movie – PS2 Game

A 3D action platformer based on the SpongeBob SquarePants feature film. You guide SpongeBob and Patrick out of Bikini Bottom and across a series of themed levels, jumping between platforms, defeating enemies with melee and bubble-based attacks, and collecting items hidden throughout each stage. Different playable characters bring their own moves, and collectibles you gather can be spent on unlockable extras. Levels are broken up by boss fights and by vehicle and mini-game style sequences that change the pace. Voice work and cutscenes tie the stages to the film’s story, and the art style follows the show’s bright, cartoonish look. Two-player mini-games are included alongside the main single-player adventure. The structure is designed to be approachable, with checkpoints and forgiving platforming.
