Star Wars Battlefront – Xbox Game

A team-based Star Wars shooter for the original Xbox. You play as a rank-and-file soldier on either side of the Clone Wars or the Galactic Civil War, picking an infantry class such as trooper, heavy weapons, sniper or pilot before dropping into battle. Objectives centre on capturing and defending command posts across maps set on planets from the films, with large numbers of AI soldiers fighting alongside you. Vehicles and emplaced turrets are scattered around the battlefields, from speeders and tanks to walkers, and can be commandeered when you reach them. The game includes instant action skirmishes, campaign missions for both eras, and Galactic Conquest, a strategic layer where you move forces between planets and then fight the resulting battles. Split-screen play is supported for local sessions.
