Star Wars Episode I

Star Wars Episode I: Obi-Wan’s Adventures is an action game for Game Boy Color built around The Phantom Menace. You play as Obi-Wan Kenobi, working through stages set in locations from the film, cutting down battle droids and other opponents with your lightsaber and using Force abilities to deal with obstacles and enemies. Levels combine combat with exploration and platforming, and the game uses colour graphics and Star Wars music arranged for the handheld’s sound hardware. Progress follows the broad shape of the film’s story, moving from the Trade Federation’s ships toward confrontations on Naboo, with boss encounters against tougher enemies along the way. Controls are kept simple, with attack, jump and Force actions mapped to the Game Boy Color’s limited button layout.
