A role-playing game from BioWare set thousands of years before the films, during a war between the Republic and a Sith empire. You create a character, choose a class, and gain Jedi training as the story unfolds, recruiting companions including a Wookiee, a Twi’lek mechanic, a Mandalorian and assorted droids. Combat uses a real-time system built on turn-based dice rules, with pausing to queue attacks, Force powers, grenades and item use for your active party of three. Planets are explored on foot with dialogue trees that shape your standing on a light side and dark side scale, affecting powers, prices and how companions react. Side content includes swoop bike racing, a card game called Pazaak, and starship-turret sequences between destinations. Equipment, lightsaber crystals and upgrades can be crafted and customized.
