Star Wars Rebel Strike – Gamecube Game

The third Rogue Squadron game, combining the series’ arcade flight combat with new on-foot and vehicle missions. Flying stages put you in craft such as X-wings, snowspeeders and other Rebel and captured ships across objective-driven battles from the original trilogy era, scored with medals that unlock additional content. On-foot missions have you running, shooting and taking cover, while other sections involve speeder bikes, an AT-ST and land vehicles. A cooperative split-screen campaign lets two players work through missions together, and competitive modes are also included. Cutscenes are assembled partly from film footage. Performance ratings on each level gate bonus ships, modes and hidden extras, encouraging replays of missions for better times and accuracy. Controls remain accessible, with lock-on targeting and secondary weapons rather than detailed flight simulation.
