State of Emergency – PS2 Game

State of Emergency is a third-person action game set in cities overrun by rioting crowds. You fight through shopping malls, streets and other public spaces packed with dozens of simultaneously animated civilians and enemy forces, using fists, melee weapons, firearms and objects picked up from the environment. Two main styles of play are offered: a mission-driven mode where you complete objectives for a resistance group, and a score-attack mode where you cause as much destruction as possible against the clock. Several playable characters are available, each with different physical attributes. Combat is fast and close-quarters, with the crowd itself acting as both cover and obstacle as it scatters and stampedes. The game supports multiplayer for cooperative and competitive runs through the same environments.
