SteamWorld Collection – Wii U Game

SteamWorld Collection gathers two entries in the SteamWorld series on a single Wii U release. SteamWorld Dig is a mining platformer in which you dig downward through procedurally arranged earth as a steam-powered robot, hauling ore back to the surface to sell, then spending the proceeds on upgrades to your pickaxe, lantern, water tank and movement abilities. The deeper you go, the more hazardous the caverns become. SteamWorld Heist is a turn-based tactics game set aboard boarded spaceships, where you control a small crew of robots and aim their shots manually, lining up ricochets off walls to hit enemies behind cover. Both games share the series’ western-influenced robot setting and hand-drawn art. The Wii U version supports play on the GamePad screen.
