Stolen – PS2 Game

Stolen is a third-person stealth game for the PlayStation 2 built around burglary. You play a professional thief infiltrating guarded buildings to steal specific targets, with the emphasis on avoiding detection rather than fighting. Light and shadow, guard patrol routes, and security systems such as cameras and alarms all shape how you move through a level, and you use gadgets and gear to disable obstacles, distract personnel and reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Acrobatic movement lets you climb, crawl through vents and cling to ledges to find alternative routes. Being spotted brings guards down on you, so retreating into cover and waiting out a search is often preferable to confrontation. Missions are scored on how cleanly you complete them, encouraging careful planning and repeat attempts.
