Ayrton Senna’s Super Monaco GP II is a Formula One-style racing game for the Sega Genesis and the sequel to Super Monaco GP. Racing is shown from a behind-the-car perspective, with high and low gear selection, braking into corners and heavy traffic to work through on each circuit. Alongside quick single races, a championship season has you competing across a run of Grand Prix events, qualifying for grid positions and accumulating points over the year. Car setup options let you adjust elements of the machine to suit different tracks. The game carries the licence of driver Ayrton Senna, who appears in the presentation and in a set of challenge events where you attempt to match his times. Two players can compete using a split-screen mode.
