Super Off Road – Sega Genesis Game

Super Off Road is an overhead off-road truck racer for the Sega Genesis. Each track is shown in a single screen from above, so you can see the whole circuit and every rival at once as you fight for position through banked turns, jumps, and obstacles. Races run for several laps, and bumping opponents into the dirt is part of the game. Prize money earned from finishing well is spent between events on upgrades including speed, tires, shocks, and nitro, which gives you a short burst of extra acceleration when you need to pass. Track layouts get tighter and more demanding as you advance. Multiple players can compete on the same screen, which is where much of the game’s appeal comes from.
