Super Smash TV – Sega Genesis Game

Super Smash TV is a multidirectional arena shooter set inside a violent television game show. You move with one control input and fire in a separate direction, clearing room after room of enemies that pour in from doors on all four walls. Between waves you grab cash, prizes and power-ups such as spread shots, missiles and speed boosts, and periodically face a boss before moving deeper into the studio. The Genesis version supports two players at once, with the second contestant joining directly in the arena. Enemy waves are dense and relentless, so survival depends on constant movement and keeping your fire aimed away from your direction of travel. The presentation leans on the game show framing, with announcer lines, prize pickups and studio-set backdrops.
