Super Street Fighter II – Sega Genesis Game

Capcom’s Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers on the Sega Genesis is a one-on-one fighting game and an expanded revision of Street Fighter II. It adds four fighters to the returning World Warriors: Cammy, Fei Long, Dee Jay and T. Hawk, each with their own special moves and stages. Matches are fought as best-of-three rounds against the computer in single-player arcade mode, or head-to-head with a second player. The game uses six attack buttons, so a six-button Genesis controller makes the full move set easier to access, though three-button pads are supported through a switching system. Alongside the new characters the release brings revised sprites, adjusted move properties and additional attacks for the existing roster. Play centres on spacing, blocking, throws and executing quarter-circle and charge motions to land special attacks.
