Superman – Nintendo 64 Game

Superman for the Nintendo 64 is a 3D action game set in a version of Metropolis created by Lex Luthor. You control Superman through open city areas rendered with heavy fog, and much of the play involves flying through sequences of floating rings within a time limit to advance. Between and around these objectives, Superman uses his powers, including flight, super strength, heat vision and freeze breath, against enemies and hazards that appear in the city. Missions are structured around timed objectives, and failing to complete them within the limit means restarting the attempt. The game presents Metropolis as a large environment you traverse mainly by air, with buildings and streets below. It is based on the DC Comics character and draws on the animated series version of Superman’s look.
