Superman – Sega Genesis Game

Superman for the Sega Genesis is a side-scrolling action game based on the DC Comics hero. You move through stages punching and throwing enemies, using Superman’s strength against thugs, machines and larger opponents at the end of levels. His other abilities are worked into the play as well, with heat vision and super breath available as attacks and flight used to cross gaps and reach areas out of reach on foot. Some sections shift to flying sequences where you move Superman through the air past obstacles and enemies rather than fighting on the ground. Stages take place in and around the city and other locations tied to the character’s comics, and levels typically end with a confrontation against a stronger foe. Controls are simple and arcade-styled.
