Syberia II – Xbox Game

Syberia II continues the point-and-click adventure of Kate Walker, an American lawyer whose business trip has turned into a long journey east in the company of the inventor Hans Voralberg and his automatons. You explore hand-painted pre-rendered locations, talk with the people you meet, collect and combine items, and solve environmental and mechanical puzzles to keep the group moving toward the fabled island where mammoths are said to survive. The story is told through extended dialogue and cutscenes, with an emphasis on atmosphere, snowbound scenery and clockwork machinery rather than action or timed challenges. This Xbox version adapts the mouse-driven interface to the controller, moving Kate directly through each screen. Progress depends on observation and conversation, and there is no combat.
