Tarzan – Nintendo 64 Game

Tarzan on Nintendo 64 is a platformer based on the Disney animated film. You guide Tarzan through jungle environments, running, climbing vines, swinging between trees and sliding along branches as the stages follow the broad shape of the movie’s story. Some sections put you in control of Tarzan as a boy, and the game mixes straightforward running and jumping with chase sequences and simple combat against jungle animals. Collectibles are scattered through each level, encouraging exploration of side paths and hidden areas rather than a straight run to the exit. Characters and settings from the film appear throughout, backed by voice clips and music drawn from the movie. The controls are aimed at younger players, with a forgiving structure and clearly signposted objectives from one stage to the next.
